About this adventure

I pulled over for the view, but found myself--wouldn't you know?--in a very active tearoom.

I am a gay man. And I am a member of the generation known as the “Baby Boomers.” There are many other ways to describe me, but these two facts do more to describe who I am than anything else. I am old enough to remember newspapers briefly reporting the Stonewall riots as some icky civil disturbance by a bunch of crazies. I am young enough to see those same papers endorse full, legal marriage rights for those same crazies. And I know I played a role in making that change happen, like thousands–maybe millions–like me.

I knew therein lies a tale. So I got in my car with my laptop and iPhone, and started talking to guys about just that. Six months and 10,000 miles later, I’m still doing it. With Donna Summer blaring from the stereo. Alternating with Gaga and Edith Piaf.

I’m going to share my stories here. Will you join me with yours?
